S+P Lawyers announced today it has merged with local law firm Fiford Law in a move to further
strengthen its client offer in Lismore, Byron Bay and the region. The merger will become effective on
September 24th, 2007.
The Firm will practice under the name "S+P Lawyers, incorporating Fiford Law".
Commenting on the merger, S+P Lawyers Director Ben Carroll said: “The combined firm now
offers enhanced expertise, adding the strength and local experience of Jim Fiford and his team to S+P
Lawyers. With Jim onboard we are better able to serve the many and varied needs of our clients in the
region.”
Jim Fiford has practiced as a solicitor in the Lismore District since 1965. He has diverse legal experience
in conveyancing, wills and estate administration, court litigation, managing local government issues
and family law practice.

The Fiford team will relocate to S+P Lawyers, Suite 1, 75 Magellan Street, Lismore on Monday 24th September,
2007 with the present 40 Woodlark Street office remaining attended on Mondays and Tuesdays 9.a.m.
to 4 p.m. during October, 2007.
